Tasting notes

Jaume Serra Cosecha is an attractive garnet red color with ruby trims.

It is net and deep on the nose that permits to sense the intense own aromas of the used variety, felling a light tone because of the oak. On the mouth is balanced in body and acidity, with good retronasal sensation and a good and long end in the mouth.

Fermenting process

The grape of this Cosecha, D.O Penedés is stemmed and crushed to macerate during 6 days, with grape juice pulling in this way out the color and the tannins to obtain the wanted wine with a medium coat. After that, it made a rack and a light pressing to continue with the fermentation in vats at a control temperature of 25º C.
Fermentation process of this wine last 22 days. Wine elaborated in this way goes to American oak barrels during a period of three months.

Servicing recommendations

The recommended temperature of servicing of this Jaume Serra Cosecha is between 16º - 18º C.
