Tasting notes

This Cava Jaume Serra Chardonnay is golden yellow color, clean, with small bubble taking places in slow rosaries, forming a crown.

On the nose is fine, elegant with barrel aromas and good intensity. On the mouth, balanced and smooth palate with a nice finish. The retronasal sensations are powerful and complex

Fermenting Process

To make this cava we choose the best wine from grapes Chardonnay harvested in 2004. After adding the sugar and the selected yeasts it was made the second fermentation in the bottle (traditional method) in our diggings at a temperature never above 16 º C to get a small bubble.
The bottles have rested in our Jaume Serra cellars in strict darkness and silence to a minimum of 18 months.

We recommend serving this Jaume Serra very cold, between 4 and 6ºC.

This cava is ideal to be served with roasts and consistent fish dishes.
